About ClarkWork

ClarkWork is a product.  It has been created by interactions with people, experiences and journeys.  It can be for sale or it can be given away.  It hopes to make a lasting impression.

Okay, enough of the metaphysical.  For the past number of years I have found a comfortable niche in the information technologies where I try to enjoy a healthy and creative life.  Since the mid-Seventies I have earned a living in technical employement--somewhat surprizingly.  I am currently a website programmer.  I work in the healthcare industry and develop community-based websites on the side (see My work for details on the latter).

Joys include jogging, bicycling, day hikes, walking with a friend or a dog--or both.  I have just enough musical talent to keep me entertained by playing the guitar and listening to far better musicians. I find it easy to be attracted to lectures, theater, exhibits, films or concerts if I don't have to drive too far to get there.  I enjoy eating out and having meals that don't include meat.  Living in a small house in an old neighborhood is just right and I can hardly imagine an alternative.  A vacation that requires no more than a day or two drive usually works out nicely.  Flying is scary but sometimes the trips have been worth the fear.
